The Scrap Bag
It takes 83 squares (cut with care) to create one bag. The interior is lined with 8oz. undyed cotton. In order to stay true to the scrap concept, we plan to make these bags, only when we have leftover cuttings available.
The scraps come from our cotton fabric that is woven by a family owned and operated mill, based out of Guatemala. Their circular manufacturing process is chemical-free, dye-free and uses minimal water and energy.
We couldn't bare to toss these beautifully dyed bits of fabric in the trash, so we've designed a bag that's sewn almost completely from scraps. Inspired by quilting and patchwork techniques, we slowly piece together each bag into this checkered pattern.
