Inspired by the very first chore coat that showed up in late 19th century France, our interpretation has a structured fit, tapered sleeve, and three large front pockets.
Sewn in 100% sustainable cotton. The raw materials are upcycled and woven by a family owned and operated mill, based out of Guatemala. Their circular manufacturing process is chemical-free, dye-free and uses minimal water and energy. The buttons are natural corozo (nut) and our thread is 100% cotton.
Working in small batches, our fabric is dyed using fiber reactive dyes. A process that is considered more permanent than most any other type. The color bonds with the cotton fiber and becomes a physical part of the molecule, creating an incredibly strong wash and light fastness! Note: We strive for color consistency but slight variations should be expected.
