We couldn't bare to toss these beautifully dyed bits of fabric in the trash, so we've designed a bag that's sewn almost completely from scraps. Inspired by quilting and patchwork techniques, we slowly piece together each bag into this graphic checkered pattern.
It takes 83 squares (cut with care) to create one bag. The interior is lined with 8oz. undyed cotton. Take note that we don’t photograph each individual bag. Due to the inconsistent nature of scrap cuttings, what you see here is a general representation of the colorway you’ll be receiving.
This bag is made from a mixture of upcycled cotton and deadstock scraps. The cotton fabric is woven by a family owned and operated mill, based out of Guatemala. Their circular manufacturing process is chemical-free, dye-free and uses minimal water and energy.
