The Scrap Bag
Sea Green Stripe
We couldn't bare to toss these beautifully dyed bits of fabric in the trash, so we've designed a bag that's sewn almost completely from scraps. Inspired by quilting and patchwork techniques, we slowly piece together each bag into this graphic striped pattern.
Note: We have a small inventory ready to ship. Once we run out of those, expect around 1 week for us to sew and ship your garment. If you need it to arrive by a specific date, email us and we’ll do our best to accommodate :)

This pattern is made up of strips, pieced together from our cutting waste. The interior is lined with 8oz. undyed cotton. Take note that we don’t photograph each individual bag. Due to the inconsistent nature of scrap cuttings, what you see here is a general representation of the colorway you’ll be receiving.
The scraps come from our cotton fabric that is woven by a family owned and operated mill, based out of Guatemala. Their circular manufacturing process is chemical-free, dye-free and uses minimal water and energy.
Working in small batches, our fabric is dyed using fiber reactive dyes. A process that is considered more permanent than most any other type. The color bonds with the cotton fiber and becomes a physical part of the molecule, creating an incredibly strong wash and light fastness! Note: We strive for color consistency but slight variations should be expected.
All of our bags are made right here in our San Diego studio. We are currently a two person sewing team that cranks these out with love and care. Dimensions of bag — Body: 12.5 x 12.5 x 3" / Strap: 25" long and 3" wide

We recommend this vegan kapok
insert, that’s been tested to fit our cases very well. It's also one of the most environmentally friendly insert options out there.
