The Scrap Scarf
One-of-a-kind! We couldn't bare to toss these beautifully dyed bits of fabric in the trash, so we've designed a scarf that's sewn almost completely from scraps. Inspired by quilting and patchwork techniques, we slowly piece together each one into a graphic pattern.

PATCHWORK
It takes 84 stripes (cut with care) to create one scarf. The scraps come from our cotton fabric that is woven by a family owned and operated mill, based out of Guatemala. Their circular manufacturing process is chemical-free, dye-free and uses minimal water and energy.
FILLING
The interior filling is natural Kapok — a vegan sustainable fiber from the Ceiba Tree. This seriously soft fluff is harvested from naturally fallen seed pods and is hypoallergenic. It is encased in a lightweight cotton muslin that can be easily accessed through an invisible zipper, for care/cleaning.
DYE
  • Designed and sewn in CA
  • 8 oz. cotton
  • Corozo buttons (nut based)
  • White contrast stitching
  • Pre-washed and shrunk
  • Model: Size small (5' 8")

DYE
We use Fiber Reactive Dyes. They are considered more permanent than most any other type. It chemically bonds with the cotton fiber and becomes a physical part of the molecule, creating an incredibly strong wash and light fastness.
DETAILS
All of our scarves are sewn by our in-house team. We use 100% cotton thread throughout the entire piece. Dimensions: 66" long x 7" wide
