Why? For fabric that we have a very limited amount of, we're not sewing an inventory ahead of time. We want to guarantee those of you who get here first, have access to the size you'd like. In order to do that, we measure exactly how many yards we have and how many pieces we can make with it :)
That being said, these will be sewn upon order so please expect around 2-4 weeks for it to ship. Thank you!

THE PIECE
Made for sunny days — this extra wide hat will keep the rays off your cheeks and out of your eyes. It has the same fit and squared-off top as our Session Hat, but with a stiffer brim that can be molded to create a few different looks. Note: It still has a bit of flop to it. We've also added an easily removable chin strap, allowing you to adjust for a windy hike or relaxing pool day. Note: This brim does not have a wire in it.
IMPERFECTS
This piece has been categorized as imperfect, meaning that it has a small defect and needs to be sold at a discount (yay for you)! These issues can range from small stains, sizing issues, dye/color variances, sewing mistakes, and more. But don’t worry, we won’t list anything in this section of the shop that doesn’t live up to our imperfect-standards.
SUSTAINABILITY
In an attempt to create as little waste as possible, we’re excited to offer these garments at a reduced rate. I bet you won’t even be able to notice what’s “wrong” with it :) Anything that is deemed too far gone is absorbed into our scrap program, and turned into something new.

ITEM DEFECT
This particular batch was sewn with the wrong thread. It is a bright white thread instead of a more creamy color that matches the fabric exactly. Other than that, the piece is sewn perfectly and ready to wear! Embrace the wabi-sabi :)
